ah, the good ole beacon east. one of my ongoing complaints about g.p. is that there's no decent movie theatre within, oh, what about walking distance? how fun would that be? when I was growing up there was a little old theatre called the punch & judy on the hill-- during my adolescence they showed the rocky horror picture show every friday and saturday at midnight. that's also where we went to see snow white for my birthday party where I felt I was much too old for disney and embarassed by my mother's choice on my friends' account. at chris renke's slumber party we'd all gone to see smokey and the bandit, so I was way way behind in the cool department. there was also that theatre on mack and 7 mile where gerri ocampo and I went to see a matinee of history of the world part one. on that day I felt *very* cool and grownup, R-rated movie and all.
[this is good]
Even though we now live thousands of light years away from each other we both knew to do the same thing this Friday afternoon. I felt no guilt.
